MY NAME IS OONA will be installed as a loop in the two part exhibition Janey Smith, curated by the collective Coyote that will take place in Copenhagen on Saturdays between 7th – 28th November.
MY NAME IS OONA
Jacob Broms Engblom, Gunvor Nelson, Tove Kjellmark, Lydia Ericsson Wärn
Opening Saturday November 7th 15:00-19:00
The exhibition Smith has taken its title from the main character in Kathy Acker’s novel “Blood and Guts in High School” released in 1984. The fictional character of Janey Smith is used as a main point of entry to the exhibited works; as a voyage of juvenility artificially reflecting on the “springtime of life”, downstairs in the old glaziers workshop.
In conjunction with the exhibition coyote invites to the prologue exhibition Janey at Bonamatic, using Smiths’s first name as a title and point of entry.
7th November – 28th November*
Opening times Saturdays 12:00-15:00 or by appointment
Liflandsgade 6, 2300 København S
