An arachnid plays base, makes supper, waters a plant , watches TV, types a bit. ‘No home like space. Lately I have been travelling in time’, she writes, revealing a heightened awareness about the depth of her own experience. Her words both seem to describe her aerial apartement and her limited existence within the artist’s video.

About the artist

Lisa Jeannin

Born in 1972 in Uppsala, Sweden. Lives and works in Hakebo, Sweden.

Lisa Jeannin studied at the Art Academy of s’Hertogen Bosch, Holland and the Art Academy of Malmö, Sweden. She works with video, animation, sounds and music, sculptures and drawings and installations, often in collaboration with Rolf Schuurmans.
