About the artist

Emelie Carlsson Gras

Born in 1973 in Lund, Sweden, where she is still living and working.

Emelie Carlsson Gras has studied film and video art in Sweden and France. Writing manuscripts and directing, she has worked with short film, documentaries and video installations. Her film “Dansa Med Dvärgar” (2003) was awarded a grant from the Kurt Linder commemorative fund and also won a prize at the 49th International Short Film Festival in Oberhausen.
