When Armstrong Passed by, the Sky Was Blue
BY
Camilla Bergqvist

When Armstrong Passed by the Sky was Blue is a visual journey that travels through different dimensions and various of aspects of time, layers of history and moods. A number of stories without a obvious ending and a given beginning floats together. A flow of time and thoughts. I was, I am, I will be. Astronomical time, biological time.

It depends on which perspective you place yourself in. How you as a humanbeing exist in multiplied world. Existing in the public, the individual and most intimate and private sphere. The existent of a number of varied universes. Our present time as episode of a never-ending epic serial story. Inspired by the western idea about linear time, the video is made as a long linear panorama. The course of events are yet not following the linear. Happenings and time being are taking placed in random. The title can be derived to both Neil Armstrong and Louis Armstrong. An astronaut is frequently passing through the video and the video ends with a cover of Louis Armstrongs well known song ‘What a Wonderful World’.
