This is about a number of Swedes’ passion for cars. A car-loving lady unfortunately has a travel-sick cog, but also a car polish, which attracts almost religious worship amongst other lovers of shiny cars. Somewhere young men with baseboll caps gather to burn off rubber from the back tyres. Kenta and Crippen both fight for the title in the Swedish Championships of the car stereo with the highest soundpressure … the poetic image of a 70-year old veteran car enthusiast with bushy, white hair, circling around McDonald’s with a wild searching look in his eyes, shouting in a mobile phone in an attempt to find out if he has missed his son’s pre-meeting spot for the parade in Stockholm. They get in touch, but when they are out for a drive in an amphibious car that starts to take in water, one suspects that it can be trying to have a car maniac for a father …

By filming and recording different persons and situations Malin puts the pieces she finds interesting together to a story that take form during a lot of editing. She often uses sounds and music to create a feeling of something else.
