HIDE

Sexualiteten
BY
Mikael Beckman-Thoor

My initial idea for this song was that the singing figures should hang suspended like puppets, prancing on their strings. I did a quick test and it turned out that this probably would be very complicated. Therefore, an idea came up of suspending our bodies in an invisible construction of steel pipes and instead letting the scenery move. I think this video in its simplicity is one of my absolute best. Then the text may seem reactionary, but I defend myself by saying that it is a reaction to Malena Ivarsson’s extremely ridiculous program “Fräcka fredag” about sex and relations which was sent on the Swedish television during this time.
