This film was recorded during a workshop called “Visual experiments in front of the camera”, which I had at the The Royal Institute of Arts in 2005. The student Yoshiyuki Akai then produced this small scenography, during which I asked if I could write a small chamber play that fit into the small room. The film was shot in the Art College’s Mural Workshop.

About the artist

Mikael Beckman-Thoor

Born in 1959 in Stockholm, Sweden. Lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden.

Mikael Beckman-Thoor is currently a Lecturer in Fine Art, specialising in Video, at Kungliga Konsthögskolan in Stockholm, Sweden. He has been working with film since the 1980’s, as a composer, scenographer and recordist, making the music for films such as “En liten film för mina systrar” 1992 and “I sin ensamhet” 1998.
