BY
Anita Malmqvist

The video relates to the Coffee break as a central phenomena in the modern western society. An almost UFO-like coffee machine set in the center is surrounded by a group of people moving around, slightly preoccupied, waiting for the coffee to get ready. The video uses several techniques to expose the human bodies as calorific machineries, varied between being identified characters to becoming amorphous shapes melting together with each other and interacting with the radiation field that the coffee machine generates.
