Noemi Sjöberg works with video, photography, installations and public art. She has participated in residencies in countries such as: Turkey, Japan, Iran, USA, Morocco, Egypt, India, China, Mongolia. Traveling sharpens her senses and forces her into a state of observation. 3 axes are central to her work: the human condition over time, the changing perception of reality and the sensory deepening that sharpens our senses. Her work has been shown in Sweden at exhibitions and festivals such as: Västerås Art Museum, Zita Folkets Bio Stockholm, Jönköping County Museum, Vandalorum, Värnamo, Kulturhuset Borgen, Gislaved, Norrköping Art Museum, Workshop Room for Art Norrköping, Färgfabriken Norr, Östersund, Cinema Sture Cinemateket Stockholm. In 2020, her exhibition ‘Parallel worlds, A matter of perception’ was shown in the Skanstull metro, on behalf of SL’s art activities in Stockholm.

In December 2020-January 2021 she had monographic video exhibition at Flux, Festival de vídeo d’author, Arts Santa Mònica Barcelona (SP). In 2018 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, her solo exhibition ‘Close distance’
was shown in Galería ATC.
In 2019, she was comissioned by the city of Paris to make the site specific permanent artwork ‘Plongeon’ (Diving) , Pont du Garigliano (16ème), Paris FR and in 2020 she was comissioned by the City of Granollers the artwork ‘Revolutions per minute’, MAU, Fábrica Roca Umbert, ES.
In 2021, she received the Research and Innovation in Visual Arts Grant from the Department of Culture, Generalitat de Catalunya, Barcelona (SP)
In 2021 L’Iconothèque historique de l’océan Indien, Patrimoine et création has comissioned her a site specific permanent artwork, Département de la Réunion, Saint-Denis FR
