David Gülich works primarily as a composer, sound designer and editor who has worked on hundreds of films, plays and sound installations for over 25 years and in several countries. He is also a recurring teacher at Biskops Arnös documentary film training. Originally from Malmö, he now lives in Stockholm.
As a sound designer, he has worked on many notable works by artists such as John Skoog, Tova Mozard, Henrik Lund Jørgensen and Athena Farrokhzad. As a director, he explores the boundary between the audible and the inaudible, the visible and the invisible, the sensitive and the insensitive, and in his work he largely uses chaos and intuition as his primary instruments.
