The film takes place in the landscape around Kiruna municipality and in Lainio. Lainio is the oldest continuously inhabited settlement in Torne Lappmark, 250 km meters north of the Arctic Circle.

Before the Luleå Biennal 2018, she travelled there with the interdisciplinary project Residence-in-Nature and nine other artists. About 70 inhabitants lives in Lainio. The geographical location with the Norwegian, Finnish, Sami and Russian have impacted both crafts, language and self-image. In a region where mapping has been represented partly by the Swedification process and by racial biology, Lisa Torell focused on the relationships between public space and private space, as well as the artist’s role, and asks what it means to stake out a place, a region, a landscape and society. The question is asked through a spray action.

The film has been shown at the Luleå Biennale 2018 and at the Marabouparken 2019.
