FYLKINGEN - Six hours of film, video, installations,
bar and film sale.
4 December 2004 at Fylkingen, Stockholm.
FILM FYLKINGEN is back for the fifth time; now with
focus on performance, documentary and Finns.
We will screen the short film about High Heel Sisters
and Thank you by The Icelandic Love Corporation as well
as the debut film The Drive North by Tess Ernst (US)
and Finnish “porno” with nature features.
Other names are Johanna Billing, Nevin Aldag (DE), Fabienne
Audeod (FR) and Pirjetta Brander (FI). We also show
a music video for WARP by Seppo Renvall (FI) and a fantastic
dance video by Lilibeth Cuenca Rasumussen (DK).
In the bar Chicken Project by SU-EN will be screened
and the classic The Kitchen by Carin Ellberg and Katarina
Lindgren-Cavallin. The night opens with The Eternal
Frame, a performance film by Ant Farm (US) from 1976
and is brought to a close with En film inåt by
Johanna Rytel. During the breaks you can buy video and
film on DVD and VHS.
The programme content may be subject to change.

and retrospective about the films of Eric M Nilsson.

Seven hours of film, video, installations, bar and
shop.
Film Fylkingen is back, now in a full evening with focus
on music. Be prepared to see pioneer work, electronic
paintings by Ture Sjölander, produced together
with Bror Wikström, Lars Weck and Lars Svanberg
for The Swedish Television in the sixties. These works
will be screened for the first time in many years! Also
a lot of video and film by Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian
artists.
The evening is a collaboration between Filmform and
Fylkingen.

AWARD to Kjartan Slettemark

Filmform is proud to present its honorary award of SEK
10 000 to the artist Kjartan Slettemark. Slettemark
will be given the award in celebration of his obstinate,
playful and pioneering work in his provocative films
and videos, spanning more than three decades. His artistic
actions have their given place in art history and are
just as relevant within contemporary art's currents
of ideas and expressions.

Filmform proudly presents the new database. (Click DISTRIBUTION
in menu.) The database contains information about films
and video in distribution and the artists/filmmakers.
The database is still under construction and is therefore
not complete. The database will be continously updated.
The big amount of referens copies that are available
for research at the Filmform office are not yet visible
in the database.
We hope that the database will be world wide useful.
